摘要：A method is provided for drilling a wellbore. Raw drilling dada and informationis captured and organized in accordance with an ontology of defined concepts andrelationships, and it is organized in a database format. An interface is provided to allow anoperator to query the database. Queries are received which relate to a specific drillingsituation and a data processing system is used to retrieve from the database relevant oranalogous drilling knowledge or experience. The relevant or analogous drillingknowledge or experience is utilized to make drilling decisions.
