摘要：Apparatus, and an associated method, for determining viability oftransformation of a conventional computer system arrangement into a virtualizedarrangement. A virtualization engine is provided that includes an assessor and a scorer.The assessor carries out an assessment process, such as a system assessment, acomponent assessment, and a cost assessment that assesses the viability of thetransformation. And, a scorer provides a quantifiable score of the assessment results.The score is used in the decision-making process to decide whether to transform thearrangement into the virtualized arrangement.
