Objectives: Student should be able to understand new vocabulary and its proper usage, And be able to answer questions pertaining to education. Hour 1 Procedure:

Warm-Up: Listen and repeat these sentences:

I’m an English student

I’m studying at New Oriental Foreign Language School. I need to improve my English I want to take the IELTS exam. It’s a lot of fun! I come from Beijing

Listen and repeat the questions:

What’s your first name? What’s your family name? Where do you come from?

Are you a student or do you have a job? Why are you studying English? Why do you enjoy studying English?

2. Learn proper responses and usage of each question.

Practice:

Practice using each of the new vocabulary words in a sentence.

Homework: write vocabulary words into sentences, 1 sentence vocabulary word underline vocabulary word in sentence. E.g. Co-ed- The lockers in our school are co-ed.
