英语请求允许及回答

英语交际用语使用范围广泛，形式多样，语言表达常随语境的不同而变化。表示请求允许及其应答的常见表达方式有以下几种：

1. — May / Can / Could I ...? / I wonder if I can (could) ../Do you think I can…?/Is it all right if I….

— Yes, you can. / Sure. / Certainly. / Of course (you can). / Go ahead, please. / Th at’s OK.

2. — Could you please ...? / I wonder if you can (could) ... / Could you please do me a favor

to ...?/Can=could you be so kind as to…?

—肯定：With pleasure. / No problem. / I am more than glad to ... / Why not? Sure.

/Certainly. /Of course. / By all means. / Yes, do please. //否定：I’m afraid…(我恐怕……)I’m sorry, but…(对不起，但是……)I’m sorry you can’t. /You’d better not.

注意：在请求允许时，使用could可使语气更加委婉和客气，有尊重对方的意思，但回答时要用can而不能用could。

3. — Would you mind my doing ...? / Do you mind if I do ...? / Would you mind if I did ...? —Of course not. / Do as you like, please. / Not at all. / Go ahead, please. / You’d better not. / I am sorry, but ... / I’d rather you didn’t.

注意：在回答含mind的问句时，用no表示“允许（不介意）”，用yes表示“不允许（介意）”。
