The richest man in America , the 67-year old discount king Sam Moore Walton ,who is in charge of the Wal-Mart, is considered to be friendly, cheerful, and easy-going. He is rich and hardworking but still leads a simple life as common people. So even Jamie Beaulieu , a waiter was a little disappointed when he went to the house of Walton for service. According to Gordon Garlington, a pastor of the local church, it may be hard for you to imagine that Walton can be found in the church without a set seat on Sunday no matter how busy he is. And he will also wash dishes with his wife after church supper. He just do what he thinks he should do . In addition, when comes to Walton, John Mayhall, the barber Walton has used for 19 years ,finds him easy-going enough to read in the chair to wait for his turn or chat about news . What impressed him most is that once Walton forgot his money after his hair cut, and he returned immediately for his payment. Though well-known he is , he still pay attention to the way he treat other people. As we known, Walton is a rich men who is always on the run and steer clear of reporters, dreamers as well as schemers. He concentrate on team work so that he cheer his employees up at a meeting or at a new store opening. He believes in creativity. And the most important thing is that the principles he keeps in mind has made Wal-mart an excellent team. People around the kind man are not only getting along well with him but also think highly of him. What’s more, Walton has set up some funds to support the employees’ children and help some of them to rebuild their house damaged by natural disasters. There is no doubt that Walton has set up a model ,which would have a good influence to all the people.
