the summer palace is one of the biggest loyal place in the world, which remains the most part as it was build and has a giant content in culture. that's why it is called the museum of loyal palace.
the summer palace absorbed the essence from the architecture all over china. the east part is the area of palace and internal habitation, which has a typical north quadrangle style. the south part is the area of lake which is a copy of hangzhou west lake divided in two by the west dyke, which has a rich atmosphere of southern china. the north of longevity hill are belongs to the typical tibetan lamasery style, which has white tower and castle buildings. the northest is suzhou street, which has lot of shops and crisscorssing watercourses, is also belong to southern style.

The Summer Palaceis the world's largest and best-preserved royal park. With abundant cultural resources, it has been called as the museum of royal miniature landscape. Structures inside the park were built using the best technologies found in different places of the country. In the east are halls and residences, which are typical quadrangel architecture popular in the north. The lake area in the south is a replica of the West Lake in Hangzhou. A dyke divides the lake into two parts, which is typical South China style. North of the Longevity Hill, a white pagoda and castle style buildings are built with typical Tibetan lamasery style. Suzhou street in the north, with many shops along crisscrossing watercourses, is another resemblanceof South China's riverside village.
