so as to有“in order to”的意思，即“为了....”

eg.:1.Mail your package early so as to ensure its timely arrival.为了保证能按时到达请早点邮寄你的包。

2.He ran quickly so as to catch the last bus。他跑得很快以便赶上那末班车。

3.The two lovers dropped back so as to be alone。那对情人落在后面，为的是两人好单独在一起。

such as to ,such在这里是代词，有“这样，这种,如此（地步）”的意思，as to:以至于，按着。连起来有点这个意味：这样以至于...。常用于表示强调，夸张的语气中。

eg.:1.His manner was such as to offend everyone who he met.他的行为已经到了见人就伤的地步。

2.I want everyone like such as to love me。我希望每个人都爱我。

3.His speech is such as to incur enmity。他的演说会引起别人的敌意。

4.Her madness is not such as to fill her mother with despair。她还没有疯到令其母亲绝望的程度。
